ITINERARY
FRIDAY JULY 20th 2012
10.00am – 6.30pm Practice in the Berri Resort Hotel Cocos Room, Riverview Lounge and the
Champs Sports Bar – Challenge tables
8.00am – 12-30pm Round of Golf at the Berri Golf Club. For bookings phone the Golf Shop on 08 8582 3666
(Golf buggy and golf club hire available)
4.00pm – 10.00pm Practice at various venues being used for Sectional Play.
5.00pm – 5.45pm Entries received in Coopers Bar area for Restricted $10-00 knock-out No. 1 (Restricted to players
who have not played 8-ball for their State in the Open Section since 2006. If more than 70 entries
received, players will be balloted out and entry money refunded. Please note players playing in
Invitation Knock-out are ineligible to play in Restricted Knock-out. Any player who enters more
than one competition will be disqualified from the Restricted Knock-out and will not have their
Entry Fee refunded.
5.45pm – 6.30pm Entries received in Coopers Bar area for Restricted $10-00 knock-out No. 2 (Restricted to players
who have not played 8-ball for their State in the Open Section since 2006. If more than 56 entries
received, players will be balloted out and entry money refunded. Please note players playing in
Invitation Knock-outs and Restricted knock-out No. 1 are ineligible to play in Restricted Knock-
out No. 2. Any player who enters more than one competition will be disqualified from the
Restricted Knock-out and will not have their Entry Fee refunded.
6.00pm – 11.30pm Restricted knock-out competition No. 1 on tables 5 to 18 (All matches best of 3 Frames).
Winner: 40% Runner-up: 20% Equal Thirds 10% Equal Fifth: 5%
6.00pm – 6-30pm Nominations received for “Invitation Knock-out No. 1” Limit to 16 players. Entry Fee $50 per player.
7.00pm – 10-00pm Invitation Knock-out No. 1 on tables 1 to 4. All matches are best of 7 Frames.
Semi Final and Final best of 9 frames. Winner: $500 Runner-up: $200 Equal Third: $50
7.00pm – 12.30am Restricted knock-out competition No. 2 on tables 5 to 18 (All matches best of 3 Frames).
Winner: 40% Runner-up: 20% Equal Third: 10% Equal Fifth: 5%

10.15am – 10.30am Practice on table drawn to play on (Each player is allowed a 1 minute practice prior to
commencement of round robin play which must be completed by 10.30am).
10.30am – 4.30pm Sectional play at various venues
11.00am – 4.00pm Entries received at various Sectional Play Venues for Ladies 8-Ball Knock-out ($10-00 Per Player).
(Restricted to 64 players)
11.00am – 4.00pm Entries received at various Sectional Play Venues for Under 18’s 8-Ball Knock-out ($5-00 Per Player).
(Restricted to 32 players)
4.30pm – 5.00pm Sectional play-offs (if required) (The top 4 qualifiers from each section qualify for the Finals on
Sunday).

practice prior to each match
10.00am Players who are not staying at the Berri Resort Hotel on Sunday night must have cleared their rooms and
checked out by this time. An extra half day rate will apply to any room that is not vacated by 11.00am
10.30am – 12.00am Entries received in Coopers Bar area for “Could have been Champions Knockout”. Restricted to
Non Qualifiers and Round 1 Losers. Entry fee $10-00 per player (All matches are Best of 3 frames).

Late entries will be accepted if maximum entries have not been reached by phoning the Berri Resort Hotel on (08) 8582 1411 by Friday July 20th and reporting to the Reception Desk of the Berri Resort Hotel at 10.30pm on Friday July 20th or reporting to the Reception Desk of the Berri Resort Hotel before 9.30am on Saturday July 21st to find out the Section and Venue they have been drawn to play in.
